A fresh yellow weather warning for ice has been issued for the Island.
Clear spells tonight mean road surface temperatures are expected to drop again overnight.
The areas most at risk are higher ground above 500 feet and low-lying spots sheltered from the south-easterly wind.
It came into force at 12.30pm and will be in place until 10am tomorrow.
