Ramsey member says Manx public already feeling the pinch
Government has been challenged to give immediate support to the public in the face of rising fuel prices.
Chief Minister Alfred Cannan has spelled out to House of Keys members the long term plans to lessen the impact of the current crisis.

Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper, who had put a question in the Chamber to Mr Cannan about support for rising fuel costs, agreed that a 'long term view' was necessary.
But, he says help is also needed for people feeling the pinch now:
