Plans for the promenade are available to view at Douglas Town Hall
Douglas Council says it hopes to have finished the refurbishment of the sunken garden walls by Christmas.
It comes after Storm Barra in 2021 destroyed large parts of the sea front.
Working in partnership with the Department of Infrastructure, the council will be focussing on the refurbishment of the walls and the play area.
Plans for the gardens include a new play area with a water feature.
There is also the potential for a multi sensory garden, improvements to the area surrounding the war memorial and new seating by the Jubilee Kiosk.
Displays of the plans can be viewed at the Sea Terminal and Douglas Town Hall.
