Peel Gardeners Association could not get new members
Peel Gardeners Association have decided to close after 80 years in existence.
The decision came after the organisation held a meeting appealing for new members to enter the fold and ensure its longevity however, no new people attended.
Chairman Bert Quayle says funds will be donated to local charities but £1,000 will be kept aside should anyone want to take on the group.
He added most members are in their mid-eighties and cannot continue:
