Delays pushed journey beyond airport opening times
Yesterday evening's easyJet flight from and to London Gatwick was delayed overnight with passengers not expected to depart now until 2:25pm today.
Ronaldsway Airport says it was due to a series of delays on the aircraft's schedule throughout the day.
It meant the aircraft would have needed an extension outside of the airport's operating hours, which it says it couldn't facilitate.
Manx Radio understands passengers in London had boarded the aircraft, albeit late, before being told they wouldn't be flying.
The delayed inbound flight is due to arrive at Ronaldsway at 1:55pm.
