Businessman wants all to make 'simple step'
A local businessman thinks cutting down the use of plastic straws is a 'simple' step to make, and one that 'we should all be doing'.
Phil Taylor is the director of Rock Food Concepts, the parent company of Bath & Bottle, 14North and Little Fish Cafe, all of which are in Douglas.
The three establishments have vowed to stop serving plastic straws in their drinks, opting instead to use biodegradable alternatives, or no straws at all.
Mr Taylor hopes that other businesses will follow suit, and do their bit to help the environment:
