Selasi Gbormittah celebrity guest this September

A semi-finalist of the Great British Bake-Off will be a guest at this year's Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival.

Selasi Gbormittah made it to the end stages of the BBC competition in 2016.

Selasi is heading to the Villa Marina Gardens this September, giving two cooking demonstrations in the Manx Food Theatre.

He'll also be judging the Student Chef of the Year and Chef of the Year competitions.

Selasi will talk 'about his journey from amateur to professional baker on the Saturday night'.

More than 8,500 headed to the festival last year, contributing a reported £230,000 to the local economy.

It takes place this year on 14 and 15 September.
