Pavilion venue could reopen this month
The new managers of an historic village park want the public's help to restore it to its former glory.
Laxey's Glen Gardens and Pavilion have been taken over by a newly-formed private company, following a tender exercise by landowners the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
It's hoped the venue and function room will reopen as early as August - and the surrounding public gardens could become an outdoor attraction.
The site's new managers are now looking for volunteers to help plot the Glen Gardens' history, sponsor improvements or help with gardening.
