MHK speaks after Bride meeting
Concerns about a development at Glen Truan will be listened to.
That pledge from the Onchan MHK Rob Callister, who was at a packed requisition meeting last night (Thurs) held at Bride Methodist Church Hall.
Businessman John Morphet wants to develop the course in a £3.5 million project, would include a bar, restaurant, offices, 55 log cabins for both holiday and residential use and a spa.
Residents have concerns over the potential impact such a development would have on the environment, population and traffic in the area.
Mr Callister, who is a member of the Department of Economic Development, says he respects all the views which were expressed and they have helped to give him a more informed view on the issue
