The Isle of Man is hosting the ‘Innovation Challenge: Finale’ on 13 June.

More than 50 applications were received from 20 countries for the challenge which is aimed at promoting innovation and collaboration in a biosphere.

The finalists will attend from places including the UK, Australia, Singapore and the USA and will be offered mentoring and support from Island business leaders as well as networking opportunities.

Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston claims the Isle of Man is a ‘thriving hub for global innovators’.

"As we welcome this cohort we're excited to foster groundbreaking ideas aimed at driving technological advancements in the Isle of Man."

Winners in each category will receive ‘promotion and publicity’ as well as ‘extended access to the Isle of Man’s marketplace’ for six months.
