'Go Explore' users on the up

Contrary to passenger survey findings

The Director of Transport Services says the reported fall of almost 9 per cent in visitors to the Island is not reflected in public transport revenue.

A response to a Freedom of Information request shows sales of the 'Go Explore' cards have risen by more than 100,000 since 2015, to 740,000 this year.

The cards are designed for use on heritage railways and buses.

Ian Longworth says there has been a steady increase of passengers on these services.
