Over 100 at Ballaugh event
There was a good turnout for the first FIM Capital Beach Buddies cleaning session of 2019 yesterday (Sun 6th)
Organiser Bill Dale says 107 people turned headed up to the traditional new year venue of Ballaugh beach - the second highest number ever recorded for a Sunday session.
Bill says the really encouraging aspect is the number of children getting involved.
More information on the work of Beach Buddies can be found online at beachbuddies.net.
The venue for next week's cleaning session will be announced later this week.
