Government can't pick up climate change 'tab' alone says minister

Ashford says crisis needs partnership work

Government can't be expected to 'pick up the entire tab' for climate change.

That was the message from the treasury minister today who says tackling the crisis will need everyone to get involved.

A consultation is currently underway on whether to set an Island target to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 as an interim step to achieving net zero by 2050.
