Latest figures for IoM prompt talks
Talks over a new, cross-government strategy are taking place, to try and combat the ever-growing issue of obesity in the Isle of Man.
They've been prompted by results from the Public Health Directorate's latest lifestyle survey, which show two-thirds of adults and a quarter of children of primary school age are overweight.
Plans by the directorate, alongside the infrastructure and enterprise departments, aim to promote active travel and healthier food outlets.
