Policy and Reform Minister previously said survey may be delayed
The Isle of Man Government says it hopes to run the next census in 2021.
A recent answer from Policy and Reform Minister Ray Harmer in the House of Keys suggested the population study could be delayed by a year due to resources being needed elsewhere during the coronavirus outbreak.
However, government is now hoping it will be possible to carry out the census as originally planned, subject to 'any external factors'.
