'Making Work Worthwhile' aims to help those without a job due to mental ill health re-enter the workforce
A new employment initiative is aiming to retrain and reskill younger people on the Isle of Man who are unemployed due to mental health issues.
'Making Work Worthwhile' targets individuals aged 18-30 who feel excluded but want to re-enter the workforce.
Alex Allinson says while the Island does not have a problem with youth unemployment, there is a 'cohort' of people out of work due to mental health issues.
The treasury minister adds getting this group back into work will also be beneficial to them and their families:
