Minister gives evidence to Youth Select Committee
Government needs to put ‘its money where its mouth is’ and look at funding affordable housing on the Isle of Man.
That’s the view of the leader of the Liberal Vannin Party – and Health and Social Care Minister – Lawrie Hooper.
He was one of a number of people invited to give evidence to the Youth Select Committee yesterday (19 September) which was looking at housing and young people.
Mr Hooper said he does believe government could be doing more.
He was asked whether so-called affordable housing is actually affordable to young people:
