Government will aim to 'cushion' society from cost of living pressures

But it can't help everyone affected by rising gas prices

Government can't insulate everybody from the cost of living pressures they are facing.

But it will continue to offer support where it can to ‘cushion’ society and the economy.

That’s the pledge from the deputy chief minister.

Gas prices will rise by 43.9 per cent rise on 1 September.

Tynwald will consider further support at the October sitting of the court – Jane Poole-Wilson says there is a commitment to helping those most in need:
