Committee approved by Tynwald
A Tynwald committee will spend the next three months looking at ways to encourage the development of disused and derelict urban sites.
That's after members approved the establishment of the committee in yesterday's sitting (Tues 17), following a motion put forward by Middle MHK Bill Shimmins.
He called for something to be done to reduce the number of developments in the Manx countryside.
Mr Shimmins was elected to the committee, along with Marlene Hendy and Chris Robertshaw - they'll report back to Tynwald at the July sitting.
