Chief minister admits problems could occur
Howard Quayle says government is working to make sure food supply lines are kept intact after Brexit.
Responding to a question from MHK Jason Moorhouse in Tynwald this morning, the Chief Minister says a 'reduced flow of freight' at Channel ports is expected.
"The predictions are that there will be a reduced flow of freight at the Channel ports, which could mean that certain types of fresh foods are in shorter supply."
When it was suggested that Northern Ireland could be used Mr Quayle said they too could face problems.
