Manx swimmers qualify for semi-finals
Competition is now underway at the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast of Australia.
Manx swimmers Laura Kinley and Charlotte Atkinson have qualified for semi-finals in the Commonwealth Games.
Kinley was the first Manx athlete through as she progressed in the Women's 50m Breaststroke while Atkinson finished second by a fingertip to seal her place in the next stage of the Women's 100m Butterfly.
Meanwhile, Manx Triathlete Jenny Newbery came in 19th in her event.
Jenny says her target had been to finish in the top twenty in the world class field - and she had given it her all.
