The Island's police force has had a great response to its latest recruitment drive.
By Friday afternoon's deadline 145 people had applied to join up.
The process of whittling down those applications has already begun, ahead of fitness tests which will be conducted next month.
Sergeant Adrian Shimmin, the officer who co-ordinates the process, says he's delighted with the response:
Three-month wait for state pension forecast statements
OFT to investigate possible regulation of funeral directors
"One of the Island's foremost champions of Manx heritage" to receive Tynwald Honour
No timeline yet for reinstatement of rehab service to north
