
The Island's police force has had a great response to its latest recruitment drive.
By Friday afternoon's deadline 145 people had applied to join up.
The process of whittling down those applications has already begun, ahead of fitness tests which will be conducted next month.
Sergeant Adrian Shimmin, the officer who co-ordinates the process, says he's delighted with the response:
