Acquitted of causing serious bodily harm by driving without due care
A UK man's been found not guilty of a serious motoring allegation following a motorbike crash on the Mountain Road in 2018.
Liam Bass, of Lindsey Drive in Grimsby, had denied causing serious bodily harm by driving without due care and attention on 22 August that year near Guthrie’s Memorial.
He was acquitted after a three-day trial before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
Mrs Hughes ordered the prosecution to pay Mr Bass' defence costs.
