Completed bays no stretch around 100m from entrance
The project manager for the restoration of Queen's Pier says public interest in the work is growing as the restored sections extend further into Ramsey Bay.
Dennis Curphey says the completed bays now stretch around 100 metres from the entrance.
The Queen's Pier Restoration Trust recently received another cheque for £80,000 from the Alan Chinery Trust, which has covered the cost of restoring the latest section of the Victorian structure.
The charity was set up in memory of well-known Ramsey resident Alan Chinery who used to drive the train on the pier.
Mr Curphey says the support is greatly appreciated and lifts the spirits of the team:
