Most should have received payments this morning
Government has released a statement following yesterday morning's problems which saw many not get their benefits payments.
It reads; All benefits payments have been made with the exception of a small number of anomalies that are being dealt with.
The helpline number issued yesterday evening remains valid and any customers who have not received their payments and are in need of assistance should call Social Security on 686415.
Anyone who has suffered any financial penalties connected to this matter should also contact Social Security.
The initial reason given for the problem was an 'administrative issue'.
Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan says an investigation has been launched by the department to find out what happened.
