Local artist supports abortion law modernisation
A local artist is showing her support of one of the Island's most talked about political campaigns, through Christmas decorations.
Eloise White, from Peel, has created a set of tree ornaments inspired by pro-choice campaigners, Handmaids Isle of Man.
Dressed in red and white costumes, based on the TV adaptation of Margaret Atwood's 'The Handmaid's Tale', the Manx group made their first appearance on Tynwald Day 2017, where they silently protested the Island's abortion laws.
Inspired by the campaigners fight to give women more reproductive rights and choice, Eloise has created handmade decorations to show her endorsement of the Abortion Law Modernisation.
