Community choir to perform at St German's Cathedral
There's a chance to enjoy an evening of music in Peel this weekend, as one of the Island's longest-established community choirs takes to the stage.
Manx Voices was founded in 1952 by Harry Pickard, and its members perform a wide range of music spanning many genres.
The choir will be performing at St German's Cathedral this evening from 7:30pm (Saturday 20 June).
Musical Director Angie Stewart says being part of the group brings a great sense of joy:
The choir meets every Tuesday evening from 7:30pm during term time at St Andrew's Church in Douglas and you can find out more here.
