Hartford plans could 'decimate local ecology' - Quine

MHK raises concerns over Farm Hill proposals

Around 150 trees could be removed from an area in south Douglas if plans to build 12 new homes are approved.

Hartford wants to build in Farm Hill - a site which was identified in both the Douglas Local Plan and the Area Plan for the East.

Paul Quine is one of the constituencies MHKs.

He says the work would decimate the region's ecology:

Mr Quine is seeking re-election in this year's general election which takes place on 23 September.

Sitting MHK Clare Christian and Sarah Maltby, who's a Manx Labour Party candidate, have also declared for Douglas South.
