Overtaking too close and too quickly on Manx roads can have devastating consequences for horses and riders.

The warning comes from the British Horse Society as part of its 'Dead Slow' campaign.

In the UK last year three riders and 66 horses were killed as a result of road traffic collisions, with a number of incidents also reported over here.
