Minister promises 'fresh start'
Government is promising a 'fresh start' in preparing a new development strategy for the East of the Island.
The plan will cover Douglas, Onchan, Braddan, Garff, Marown and Santon, and set out future uses for land and buildings in the area.
Residents from across the Island are being encouraged to take part in a consultation running until the end of April.
Planning officers will also be available at the Sea Terminal throughout this week to discuss ideas with the public.
Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas says it's important to get the plan right:

Sailings rescheduled due to tidal conditions
