Have you seen an otter on the Island recently?
The question may not be as daft as it sounds because whilst the animals have never been officially recorded here, there was a reported sighting of one in Manx waters last week.
It was spotted by a visitor to the Island at the Sound, in the water between the Island and Kitterland.
Duncan Bridges from the Manx Wildlife Trust says they're keen to hear from anyone else who may have spotted the animal or taken photographs so that the sighting could be confirmed. If this could happen it would be the first time a live otter has been officially logged in Manx waters.
