Self-service dispensers to cut down on plastic usage
As the drive to cut down on plastic usage worldwide continues, an Island health food store is planning an in-store eco-area to encourage plastic free shopping.
"Top Banana", the Douglas based health foods store in Saddlestone, is installing self-service gravity dispensers to allow customers to buy items in bulk.
Shop owner Jane Royle, hopes they will be available to customers by the middle of May.
