Tanning salons on the Island will have to carry health warnings for customers in the New Year.
Tomorrow, new regulations are due to be laid before Tynwald after the Sunbeds Act was passed by parliament earlier this year.
From January 1, anybody operating a tanning salon has to provide notices warning customers they face the risk of cataracts, skin cancer and premature skin ageing through long-term sunbed use.
The regulations have been put together by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture.
