Healthcare workers 'must be able to take a break'

Time off crucial to protect staff welfare, says MHK

Ensuring healthcare workers find time to take a break is vital to protect staff welfare following the coronavirus outbreak.

Annual leave for those providing medical services was cancelled at the height of lockdown, while border restrictions mean it's not feasible for some to take trips off-Island.

A total of 339 cases of coronavirus have been recorded on the Isle of Man since the first positive test in March, including three non-community cases this month.
