Improvements mooted by area's MP
Moves to refurbish the terminal at Heysham port would be 'welcomed' by the Isle of Man Government.
That's according to the infrastructure minister, who says he discussed the idea with Morecambe and Lunesdale MP David Morris at this year's government conference.
The building was last given a 'face-lift' in 2021.
Mr Morris said that whilst the terminal is 'functional' it should be 'enjoyable' for passengers travelling through it.
It's a sentiment echoed by Tim Crookall, who 'fully supports' any potential scheme:
CoMin making 'significant and determined efforts' to implement recommendations from Ranson review
Rain events 'difficult to forecast' on the Isle of Man
Planning permission granted for 26 industrial units
Port St Mary Commissioners urging residents not to 'struggle in silence'
