It's carried through Tynwald
The home affairs minister says she 'takes her hat off' to the Island's constabulary after the chief constable's annual report carried through Tynwald.
It shows that overall, there was a 10 percent reduction in recorded crime on the Island in the last financial year, while also highlighting some the challenges facing police here.
They include an increase in demand on the force as well as 'notable increases' in some of the most complex and serious crime.
Jane Poole-Wilson acknowledged those challenges, and praised the force for a 'very positive' report:
