Hop-tu-Naa celebrations underway

Children across the island will be dressing up as witches to celebrate Hop-tu-Naa today.

The Celtic festival of the New Year pre-dates Halloween.

As darkness falls, kids will knock-on neighbours doors with lanterns and sing the traditional songs hoping for treats in return.

Parents are being encouraged to accompany them at all times.

John "Dog" Callister says the day is all about traditions and fun:-
