Three days of celebrations planned
The Isle of Man, alongside nations in the Commonwealth, is gearing up in anticipation of King Charles III's Coronation.
Three days of official celebrations are expected with an emphasis on strengthening community bonds.
Charities and residents are putting their names forward to help with the preparations as part of 'The Big Help Out' scheme.
Cabinet Office Minister Kate Lord-Brennan hopes it'll spark community initiatives even after the festivities:
Local government body's can apply for a one-off grant of up to £2,000, whilst community groups and charities can apply for funding of up to £500.
The money can be used to cover up to 80-percent of eligible costs, such as venue hire, entertainment, promotion and equipment.
