The Island's political member responsible for motorsport hopes people can see the 'wider strategic vision' around more recent adaptations to the Isle of Man TT Races.

Sarah Maltby MHK says buy-in from competitors, teams, fans and residents remains crucial in shaping the event.

Certain changes to the racing fortnight have at times sparked debate - notably the busier ten-race programme first introduced in 2023.

Mrs Maltby believes the races are heading in the right direction after the meeting generated around £36million from 43,000 visitors last year:
