DOI Minister admits Island is in a different financial situation since previous decision
The infrastructure minister has admitted the decision to reinstate the horse trams to the Sea Terminal "has to be balanced with other priorities".
Chris Thomas made the comments as the first tram departed the station with passengers on it in three years yesterday.
At the start of the year, the department's former minister Tim Crookall revealed there were no immediate plans to take the tracks back to the sea terminal despite the original will of Tynwald.
Mr Thomas admitted things have changed since he promised to push for the track to be reinstated fully:
