Work carried out to reduce noise from rails
Removing rust from the horse tram tracks cost the Department of Infrastructure almost £70,000.
German firm Vossloh carried out the work in July in a bid to reduce noise generated from the rails.
In response to a Freedom of Information request from Manx Radio, the DoI confirmed it had been quoted £67,618.57 for the work.
Last month saw the horse trams return to Douglas promenade for the first time since 2019.
