
The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says it’s responding to urgent needs from farmers hit by the weekend’s snow.
It’s thought hundreds of sheep and lambs could be at risk from the freezing weather, with many farmers forced to dig out their livestock after the heavy snow.
Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne says the government is standing ready to lend a hand at a critical time of year for farms.
And he says a special hotline - 685844 - has been set up to help those in need:
