North Douglas MHK proposes a number of changes to Same Sex Marriage Bill
An MHK says his proposed amendments to the Same Sex Marriage Bill are to allow people the freedom to do what they want.
North Douglas MHK Jon Houghton wants to give registrars the right to refuse performing same sex ceremonies.
He would also like to see parents with the power to remove their children from lessons where gay marriage is taught.
Mr Houghton says the changes would cater for everyone.
