Today's sitting to start an hour earlier that usual

House of Keys members will start their weekly question session an hour earlier than usual today, at 9am.

There are nineteen of them to be answered with the three at the top of the list starred or prioritised inquiries.

There is also a question about the cost of arming the police.

The first question concerns the current role of Tim Cowsill who will leave his position as Chief Officer, Business Isle of Man at the start of August to become Chief Officer at DEFA.

The role of local authority members in the allocation of public sector housing and the cost of components of the windfarm are the subject of the two other starred questions.

Onchan MHK Julie Edge wants a statement from the chief minister about his trip to London last month.

Positive messaging before, during and after TT and any cost differences between booking to make a ferry crossing at a port as opposed to going through the Steam Packet are other topics.

Others include; why history courses have been stopped at the University College IOM and minimum salary thresholds for worker migrant visas and what additional equipment might be needed for those 20 mph signs.

You can listen to today's coverage live on Manx Radio AM 1368, online and via smartphone apps from 9am.
