One MHK has tabled every question in today’s (28 April) sitting of the House of Keys.

Arbory, Castletown and Malew’s Jason Moorhouse will raise all seven queries.

He’ll quiz the chief minister for details on a ‘health check’ of the Island’s agriculture industry and also wants information about using seaweed as fertiliser.

The health and social care minister will be asked to make a statement about a rapid bed review taking place at Noble’s Hospital.

It follows concerns about capacity - you can find out more HERE.

The infrastructure minister will be asked to reveal how many people claimed compensation for damage caused by potholes in the last three years.

Dredging, and the impact on Steam Packet sailings, will also be on Mr Moorhouse’s agenda.

In other business a motion from Douglas Central MHK, and Treasury Minister, Chris Thomas about aspects of the UK response to the Assisted Dying Bill has been transferred to another sitting.

Legislative Council amendments on the Local Government Amendment Bill will also be presented.

The Education, Sport and Culture Minister will also make a statement to the House of Keys on the Education (Amendment) Bill 2025.
