House of Keys: Questions on public transport during TT and flight cancellations

School modifications and hip operations also on agenda

The House of Keys returns today after a three-week break due to the TT races.

There are 13 questions on the agenda - with topics including public transport services over the TT period and the impact of flight cancellations on the Island's reputation.

The latter is one of six questions from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.

He also wants an update on the development of the Airport Technology Gateway and to know how many bus services were operated by non-contracted bus drivers last month, and what the policy is on informing bus users about service disruption.

Onchan MHK Rob Callister wants to know how many people are on the waiting list for a hip operation and the average time from referral to treatment.

Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse is set to ask Education Minister Julie Edge - how many teachers have left their posts during this academic year?

And Rushen MHK Dr Michelle Haywood will also ask the education minister what modifications will be made to schools ahead of the autumn term to reduce Covid infections.

The sitting starts at 10am - you can listen live on Manx Radio AM1368, Online and on smartphone apps.
