Minister pledges to look into public housing needs
There is to be a review of the island's public housing needs, starting before the end of the year.
Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer has given that assurance to members of the House of Keys, in response to questions about the perceived lack of progress in the area.
Ramsey member Lawrie Hooper had told the House only 12 new public sector houses had been built in over four years, with the emphasis instead on renovating existing properties.
Mr Harmer said the deficiency had been noted by his Department:
