Students engage with candidates ahead of General Election
Teenagers on the Isle of Man have told Manx Radio the issue of housing is a 'major concern' ahead of the General Election.
First-time voters from St Ninian's High School have had the opportunity to engage with several prospective MHK's.
On Thursday (24 September) Isle of Man residents will head to the polls to vote for who they'd like to represent them in the new House of Keys.
2026 marks 20 years since 16-year-olds were given the right to vote in an Isle of Man General Election.
In 2021, out of the 950 16/17-year-olds allowed to vote, 436 did so; just below 50 percent.
