Warning over fake £20 notes circulating on Island
A local business is warning people to be on the lookout for fake £20 notes circulating on the Island.
Charles Leece, from Port Jack Chippy, says one was passed through his till on Monday.
The counterfeit note was discovered among the takings when they were counted at Lloyds Bank the following day.
Charles told Manx Radio the copies are quite convincing, but there are a few small signs people should look out for:
