Ecologist warns tree disease is out of control
An ecologist has warned that the spread of a fungal tree disease is out of control on the Isle of Man.
Andree Dubbeldam is a conservation officer with the Manx Wildlife Trust and says there's nothing that can be done in the short-term to stop Ash dieback.
The Island's stock of ash trees will continue to diminish.
However, Andree says the trust does have a longer term plan in place including planting a new ash orchard:
